"Yoga is the journey of the Self through the Self to the Self" - The Bhagavat Gita Radha will be back to Wellington for a weekend at the beautiful Space Yoga studio - a night & day Yoga Immersion
This Friday night & Saturday afternoon mini-retreat will take us on a journey through a variety of yogic tools to establish a connection to the Heart of our being.
Together, we will walk on the main pathways in the Yoga tradition towards a union with Self:
- Raja yoga - the "royal" path of meditation and contemplation - through practices and techniques for meditation
- Bhakti yoga - the path of love and devotion - through mantra chanting and kirtan
- Jnana yoga - the path of direct knowledge - through philosophy and self-enquiry
- Tantric Hatha yoga - the path of working with the body and it's energies - through asana and breath practices
- Karma yoga - the path of consious action and service - through inspiration on how to bring yoga into our daily lives
Friday 5th July 7-9.30pm
An evening of Connection to Self through a restorative & meditative asana practice, nada yoga (sound immersion) and mantra chanting/ kirtan
Saturday 1-6.30pm
An afternoon dedicated to meditation, self enquiry, the silence and spaciousness of the heart + asana practice, mantra, journalling and cricle time
