Did you ever wish you could understand and communicate better with other congregants, neighbors, and family members with whom you disagree politically? We have just the program for you! This workshop, led by Braver Angels helps participants understand the values and concerns of those who differ from them politically and teaches essential skills for communicating across differences to find common ground.
Braver Angels is a national, non-partisan, secular organization with a mission to “…inspire and equip Americans to practice courageous citizenship across political differences through skill building, convening, and collaborative action.” This event is sponsored by the Faith In Action Team (FIAT) at Glenview Community Church. A free-will offering to benefit Braver Angels will be taken at the event. This Event will be held in the GCC Commons. (Park in west lot and use west Entrance, Door F)
