"Sketching Our Way Around CT"

Three members of the Urban Sketchers of Connecticut give a presentation and share their own sketchbooks and experiences.
Susan Schapira will give an introduction about urban sketching, what it means and also the worldwide organization and what it does.
John Laverack will demonstrate a tool and procedure he has devised for rendering proportions and perspective. He will also demonstrate the travel palette he designed and made.
Sharon Foster will show slides of sketches done by members of the Urban Sketchers of Central Connecticut group, and also a few slides of their favorite "pro" sketchers (people who teach urban sketching). The images will highlight the wide variety of formats and mediums used.
