Rickover Naval Academy (RNA), in collaboration with Friends of Rickover (FoR) is honored to host its 2nd Rickover Race to Remember on Sunday, September 7, 2025. We come together to remember 9/11 and to educate our high school cadets about its lasting impact. As part of our 5K run/walk, we will honor our First Responders, Veterans, and active-duty military. Families are encouraged to participate, and runners are invited to dedicate their run to a loved one or individual who has inspired them through their service or sacrifice.

Take advantage of the EARLY BIRD SPECIAL until Monday, July 14
The race will take place in the neighborhood surrounding Rickover Naval Academy, located at 5700 W. Berteau Avenue in Chicago’s Portage Park area.
Pre Race Packet Pick Up at RNA (Back lot concession area)
Thursday, September 4 from 4PM-7PM

Race Schedule
Kids Races Start: 8:30 AM
5K Run/Walk Start: 9:00 AM
Please Note: Strollers are allowed in the race.
Due to the campus restrictions dogs are not allowed at the school or on the race course.
All kids in the kids races will receive an award.
