McNevin & Spokes & Friends at Papillon Restaurant "Random Thursdays" in Niles, 6:30-9:30, on Mission Blvd against the hill. Roughly once a month: July 30, Aug 27, Oct 1, Oct 29. (others TBD). It's Free, healthy band tips appreciated. Sit at the bar or in the music room at the cafe tables facing the band. Loose, lotta fun, drop in anytime, enjoy surprise cameo guests. Don't let the white table cloths scare you - we are there for a bar takeover. Early birds get the seats and stools. For this July 30th - Dano on bass, Joe on drums, McNevin guitar & vox, a random cast month to month. Charley has an amazing menu and it's a beautiful place, out on Mission Blvd up against the hill. (Same hillI I rolled down as a kid, that was fun). A once a month gig, bring friends and help build the scene!
Note: Full bar, come for drinks & appetizers, or have a meal in the music room or at the bar, like a dinner show. There's affordable menu stuff, and the more famous French cuisine classic recipes from the old country (and, escargot and frog legs if you're brave!).
The 'repeat' months will include The Spokes, songwriter special guests, cameos from locals, a monthly variety.
