Synopsis:
Catherine has spent the last few years caring for her father, Robert, a genius mathematics professor who struggled with mental illness. Following Robert's death, his former student Hal discovers a paradigm-shifting proof about prime numbers in Robert's office. Did Robert write it? Along with demonstrating the proof's authenticity, Catherine also finds herself in a relationship with Hal. Throughout, the play explores Catherine's fear of following in her father's footsteps, both mathematically and mentally and her desperate attempts to stay in control. Meanwhile, Catherine's sister Claire has arrived to try and convince Catherine to come stay with her in New York.
