About this Event
From the initial enthusiasm of going to war to the realities of its horrors, North Dakota Voices of the Great War brings to life the deeply personal experiences of North Dakotans during World War I. Interwoven with songs from the era, this powerful play captures the voices of young men and women who served overseas and the families who supported them from home. Through letters, memories, and music, the production offers a moving tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of a generation forever changed by war.
Produced by the State Historical Society of North Dakota and directed by Tom Chase, North Dakota Voices of the Great War is a play written by Daniel Bielinski and Dr. Joseph T. Stuart and first performed by the University of Mary theater department.
