About this Event
This year, The CoMuseum Conference marks its 15th anniversary—an important moment to look back on fifteen years of transformative museum practice while imagining what lies ahead for museums as places of inspiration and hope.
The 2025 theme, “Museums and Hope”, positions museums as places of human connection, imagination, healing and resilience.CoMuseum 2025 will examine the evolving role of museums in shaping a more inclusive, democratic, and empathetic society. Through a dual lens—retrospective and forward-looking—we will imagine together alternative futures, and explore tools, ideas, and leadership models that empower museums to bridge divides and act as catalysts for resilience and collective imagination.
With three days full of talks, discussions, workshops and networking activities - CoMuseum is more than a conference: It acts as a global platform of expertise for the wellbeing of cultural organizations and the communities they serve, fostering the production and exchange of ideas and the facilitation of networks between culture and arts professionals from all over the world. Part of the conference will be available online in a live streaming platform.
