Burnout Society Film Club will celebrate Valentine's Day with a "Love Bytes" movie night meetup featuring a romantic sci-fi double feature of THX 1138 and HACKERS!7:30 p.m. THX 1138 (1971)
Ah yes, nothing says romance like George Lucas and a dystopian future where sex and reproduction is banned and mind-altering drugs are always on the menu! Robert Duvall stars as the titular THX and his female roommate LUH rebel but have to face the oppression of this cold system and its android enforcers.

10 p.m. HACKERS (1995)
The cyber romance continues as rival hackers played by Jonny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie compete for cyber supremacy but are ultimately have to join forces with their hackers friends when they get caught up in a criminal plot that puts them squarely in the sights of the FBI and have to put their computer skills to the test to unravel the plot and prove their innocence. Come for the ridiculous mid-90s computer graphics, stay for the mid-90s soundtrack.
