It Takes A Village

Navigating a possible or new diagnosis for your child can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. It Takes A Village is a welcoming, supportive gathering designed for families who are exploring a special or support needs diagnosis or who have recently received one.

Hosted at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum during their sensory-friendly session, this event offers a calm, inclusive environment where certain exhibit sounds are turned down or off so children can explore and play more comfortably.

Families will have the opportunity to connect with supportive resources, learn about helpful services, and meet others who understand the journey you’re on. Our goal is simple: to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and reminded that a caring community is here to walk alongside you.
