OUR KINGS brunch is an annual event for us to celebrate the journey shared between mothers and sons, as well as the special bond our Black boys (some now men) and their mothers create along the way. At our Hats and Bow-tie brunch we have special guest speakers that inspire, delicious food that is catered by local restaurants, live music, entertainment, performances by talented Black boys, an award ceremony and presentations to mothers and sons making a difference in their community, and a whole much more fun.
The name Hats & Bow-tie was created for our annual brunch as a nod to the African Black excellence always represented in the African American community. It isn’t Sunday, but we love to stay fresh and dress in our “Sunday Best”.
