The City of Springboro and the Springboro Area Historical Society will host a free America250 Movie Series at the Springboro Performing Arts Center, 115 Wright Station Way. All films begin at 2 p.m. and concessions will be available. Doors open at 1 p.m. Admission is free and no tickets are needed. For more information, call 937-748-5774.May 2: HAMILTON: Presenting the tale of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, this filmed version of the original Broadway smash hit is the story of America then, told by America now. This film will have closed captions.
June 27: "1776": Adaptation of the Broadway Tony-winning musical celebrates the founding fathers' midwifery of the Declaration of Independence, the document that would give birth to a nation.
