Join the Fountain Hills Toastmasters Club for three fun, interactive, and informative sessions to develop effective communication skills for both professional and everyday settings. Attendance is free, registration is not required, and guests are welcome!The first session, on February 4, is “Speak Up and Stand Out,” where attendees will learn tools to communicate with confidence in meetings, interviews, and daily life – including speaking when you don’t feel ready and sounding confident even when you’re nervous.
Session two, on March 4, is “Better Conversations, Better Confidence,” with tips for everyone from young professionals to retirees on why speaking skills matter and what knowledge can be gained from Toastmasters.
April 1 is session three, “The Art of Speaking without Panic.” Attendees will find out how to overcome nerves and self-doubt not by being fearless, but by being prepared and building skills one step at a time.
Each open house meeting will include interactive mini-exercises, fun speaking prompts, and informal conversation to ask and answer questions about Toastmasters. Attendees can opt to attend any or all of the sessions, which will begin at 6:30 PM and are expected to last 60 to 75 minutes each. The meetings will be held in the upstairs conference room at the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce, 16837 E. Palisades Boulevard in Fountain Hills. Come a few minutes early to get acquainted!
The Fountain Hills Toastmasters Club is a warm, welcoming group where members enjoy encouraging one another. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned speaker, you’ll find a positive, energizing space to develop real-world communication and leadership skills. Each regular club meeting offers opportunities to practice your public speaking, improve listening and quick thinking, grow in confidence and comfort levels, master time management and evaluation, participate in new roles, get helpful and constructive feedback from peers, and grow at your own pace through proven learning Pathways and resources.
