"From Fine Art To Folk Art" - Exhibit presented by the Historical Society of Cambria County
The Cambria County Historical Society was founded in 1925 by John McCormick, Mrs. Nevada Sherbine, M.S. Bentz, Sarah M. Gallaher, J. M. Young, and Ivan McKendrick. Beginning in 1975, the Historical Society became a stand-alone museum and research library for the residents of Cambria County. In 1990, the organization moved into its current home, the A.W. Buck House in Ebensburg, PA. The mission of the Cambria County Historical Society is to preserve and promote the history of Cambria County through its museum collections, library, and archives.
