Through music by Eric Whitacre, Robert Pearsall, Francisco Guerrero, Claudio Monteverdi, Stephen Paulus, and many others, we encounter flowers as symbols of love, grief, mourning, beauty, and adventure—and as reminders of the wildness and wonder of the natural world.
