Friends, we are so very excited to announce that we will FINALLY be beginning our Evening Out program at Edgebrook Coffee Shop with an event we are calling "Finer Diner". We are SUPER LUCKY to be collaborating with Chef Zacharias Craig from Asador Bastian and Mano A Mano for this function. Basically, Cory, Zach, and I have come up with a Five Course Degustation menu that we want to serve y'all. The theme of the dinner could best be described as "Classic Dishes Made New". We are taking some of the most Iconic dishes from the 50's, 60's, and 70's and updating them with modern techniques and the very best ingredients we can source.
We would like to hold this dinner on August 13, which is a Wednesday. It will be in the evening, and I would estimate that it will be around 2-3 hours. For this first event, we will be doing only one seating.
If you are getting this post, you already know that we cook out of the box a lot. We want to push ourselves harder, and we want to show you all that we are WAY more than just breakfast. These dishes are designed to honor our diner roots, but to allow us to demonstrate subtlety, creativity, and above all, our profound love of cooking delicious food!
We are doing it on a Wednesday so that we have ample time to get ready during the day, and because we thought it might be nice to give our Kindred something to look forward to in the middle of the week, in the middle of the summer! Ditch the kids for a night and let us cook you some elevated food right here in your very own local joint.
