About this Event
Mutual Arts Collective and Look2Justice present Faces of the Past & Present, an exhibition featuring original artwork by incarcerated artists working across painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
Created inside Pr*son, this work centers the voices and lived experiences of people impacted by incarceration. The exhibition invites the public to engage with art as a tool for humanization, accountability, and connection. These pieces move between history and the present moment, offering reflections on identity, power, survival, and resistance.
This exhibition reflects Look2Justice’s mission to transform the carceral system from the inside out, while aligning with Mutual Arts Collective’s commitment to uplifting artists whose lives and work are shaped by structural inequity.
Faces of the Past & Present is also a fundraiser. Proceeds and donations support currently incarcerated artists and organizations leading inside-led, transformative work. Your attendance directly contributes to sustaining this effort.
