About this Event

Exhibition opening: "Et sa pulpe!" by Jean-Pierre Mot | Studio 277 at Le Labo

Join us at Studio 277 at Le Labo for the opening of the exhibition "Et sa pulpe!" by Jean-Pierre Mot, an evening to discover an installation and discuss with the artist.

This new exhibition concludes the thematic cycle of La Jachère and sparks a reflection on the word "micro"! Come discover the artist Jean-Pierre Mot, who observes, collects, and assembles everyday objects: packaging, bags, slogans. Within these fragments, which we often overlook, questions about identity and adaptation are revealed. Blending installation and media art, the exhibition takes the form of a hybrid work: a website, GIFs, and site-specific installations at Studio 277. An unusual offering, to be discovered at Le Labo.

The event will take place at Le Labo, Toronto's Francophone media arts centre.

Opening reception with the artist present: May 28 at 5:30 pm - registration required (free)

Exhibition: May 28 to July 2 - (Wed–Fri 11 am–6 pm and Sat 11 am–4 pm)
