About this Event

Too often, people are left in the dark about the FULL RANGE of strategies they can use for recovery from Depression and Anxiety. That is what is great about THIS program - it pretty much covers it all.

This program is unique in its approach to Depression and Anxiety in that:

  • It is in a workshop format where personal sharing is not required.
  • Covers 30+ potential contributing factors that, in various combinations, lead to depression and anxiety. Each participant develops an understanding of what combination has contributed to their specific experience and the key strategies for addressing each one.
  • Explores the how-to for changing each of the factors in a very practical manner that works for people who are in the worst of their depression and anxiety, and who find it hard to get started with anything that's meant to help.

Participants can take or leave the information according to what’s relevant for them, and they feel that they are not alone in the journey towards rebuilding a life worth living.

The fees:

Various funding sources provide coverage for people to participate in this group progam.

  1. NQPHN Mental Health Stepped Care ("Head-2-Health", formerly "Connect To Wellbeing") clients - fully funded (free for you to participate).
  2. NDIS Participants - proportionate fee according to how many people attend the group program. Max your plan can be charged is $85/session (totalling $510 total).
  3. Privately funded: $510 (talk to your health insurer regarding rebates you might be eligible for.

When you register, pick the ticket that applies to you - even though it says 'free' for each one of them. Our Practice Manager will be in touch to arrange the payment according to the rules of each funding source. You will not be asked to pay at time of registration.

At Enable OT we believe in charging people according to their circumstances and have an Honour You & Honour Me approach to what we charge. We ask people to pay the full fee if they can afford it because we have families to feed and need to pay for practice overheads. However, if the full fee is beyond your capacity to pay, and you are not eligible for funding under Mental Health Stepped Care, please contact us via the email below and, explaining your circumstances, request a reduced fee option.
