About this Event

Emê's annual concert highlights the multifaceted talents of Vietnamese-American performing artists, emphasizing bridging the cultural and generational gaps in our complex community.

Join us in celebrating the remarkable journey of Hugo Nguyễn as he marks his 18th birthday, graduates from Orange County School of the Arts high school, and embarks on an exciting new chapter studying Global Jazz at UCLA. His achievements are a testament to the talent and potential within our community.

The program, with MC Julie Đan-Vy, incorporates music and performance in multiple styles by Hugo Nguyễn, the 2000s Band, Sóng Xanh, 3âm, and Emê (Mê-Linh).

The theme of this concert is "I Wish It So" because it highlights the wishes of the youth in our community for a brighter future where Vietnamese-Americans have the opportunity to pursue their dreams with pride in their heritage.
