Twin City Theatre Company is proud to announce open auditions for the 2026 Stars of Tomorrow Student Production: Emily Brontë, Teenage Necromancer by Don Zolidis, directed by Emily Ritter
1835. Northern England. The Moors. A terrifying phantom has appeared at the Roe Head School for Girls, terrorizing its students and driving the school near to extinction. It's up to star pupil Emily Brontë, and her sisters Anne and Charlotte to discern the true nature of the haunting, using their unique talents - which happen to include necromancy. A gothic, hilarious ride through English literature full of magic, ghosts, and fog; Featuring and undead goose, a lovesick spirit, and a talking meet pudding.

When: Saturday, June 6, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Where: Champaign Public Library, Robeson Pavilion Room C

Where: Champaign Public Library, Robeson Pavilion Room B
Time Commitment
Rehearsals: June 15th through July 24th, Monday - Friday, 6:30 – 9:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Urbana
Tech: July 25th - July 30th at Parkland College Second Stage Theatre, times TBD
Performances: July 31st - August 2nd and August 7th - 9th at Parkland College Second Stage Theatre
Friday and Saturday performances at 7:00 PM, Sunday Performances at 2:00 PM
PRINCIPAL CAST
Casting 18 to 20 actors of any gender, race, ethnicity, etc:
- Ages 11 - 24: 4 to 8 male characters and 8 to 12 female characters
- Ages 7 - 10: 4 boys and 2 girls

ALL AUDITIONEES: Please prepare Emily’s monologue. You will read this first, so we can get a sense of you as an actor.
