DROP THE ROC is more than a walk or run—it’s a community movement bringing people together to break the weight of shame, stigma, addiction, labels, anxiety, and hopelessness.
Join individuals, families, recovery organizations, churches, businesses, and community partners from across Southern Oregon as we walk, jog, and run together for hope, healing, and recovery.
This event is designed to:
• Raise awareness for addiction recovery, mental health, and suicide prevention
• Encourage community connection and healing
• Support local recovery and outreach organizations
• Break the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health struggles
• Remind our community that nobody walks alone

DROP THE ROC also includes a powerful “Drop the Label” moment where participants can symbolically release burdens such as:
• Shame
• Addiction
• Fear
• Anxiety
• Labels
• Guilt
• Hopelessness
Together, we drop the weight—and pick up hope.
Participants are encouraged to recruit sponsors and supporters to help raise awareness and funding for recovery and community outreach efforts.
Additional festival activities throughout the day include:
• ROC the Recovery Softball Tournament
• Guns vs Hoses VII
• Family Fun Zone
• Community resource booths
• Food & concessions
• Giveaways and raffle prizes
