Come join us for a special evening at the chapelle in the Grand Hospice as we experience the rich and vast tradition of portuguese guitar and discover it´ s modern exponents with this exciting trio of musicians.

Philippe Raposo presents his new project, *Cordas e Alma*, inspired by the guitars of his childhood. Performing as a trio, this concert invites listeners to experience the unique world of instrumental *guitarradas* from Coimbra, Portugal.

The Portuguese guitar is a one-of-a-kind instrument, celebrated here through a program that brings together classics from composers and performers like Carlos Paredes, Octavio Sérgio, Antonio Portugal, Antonio Pinho Brojo, and Filip Martins, alongside Philippe Raposo’s own compositions.

This concert takes the audience on a journey through tradition and modernity, inviting them to experience the rich, time-honored musical heritage of Portugal. For Philippe, this project is both a tribute to his cultural roots and an opportunity to let his creativity flow, honoring his family heritage in the most beautiful way.
