A group of nuns go incognito into a rough, inner-city neighborhood to assist at a clinic serving the impoverished residents. One of the nuns (Mary Tyler Moore) finds herself falling for the young doctor (Elvis Presley) running the clinic, causing her to question her vows.
Why we're showing it: An Artcraft tradition is to show one of Elvis Presley's films in January, right around his birthday. Change of Habit is Elvis's final role, pairing him with Mary Tyler Moore right before her breakout role on The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
