Breathing is essential in all aspects of life. The Earth has been breathing for hundreds of millions of years. Throughout history, we have learned various ways of breathing from the Earth and the Universe, and there are various breathing techniques, meditative, martial arts, dance yoga, etc. Also, breathing differs significantly depending on our mental and emotional state. Butoh, which was born in the 1950s, is rooted in the very origin of life and weaves the breath that comes from movement and the body itself with the breath of the soul of death and life
The breathing of the countless eyes of cells. The breathing of invertebrates. The change in breathing due to the formation of the spine. The breathing of fish, snakes, and lizards. And the breathing of four-legged beasts, the breathing of humans. The breathing of life and death that lies between the meditation and emotions of these lives.
