The event will be held at NASHBIRD’s original downtown Oklahoma City location at 1 NW 9th Street.
Perkins played 14 seasons in the NBA and helped the Boston Celtics win the 2008 NBA Championship. He later became a key member of the Oklahoma City Thunder team that reached the 2012 NBA Finals and remains a familiar and popular figure among Oklahoma basketball fans.
Today, Perkins is one of ESPN’s most prominent NBA analysts, regularly appearing across the network’s basketball and debate programming. He was also recently named general manager of the Jackson State University men’s basketball program, where he will help guide player development, recruiting and the program’s broader growth.
Perkins recently joined NASHBIRD as a brand ambassador as the Oklahoma-founded restaurant begins an ambitious new stage of growth.
