"Be the Light" Book Club

Welcome to the "Be the Light" Book Club! We wanted to create a space in the Tampa Bay area where we can discuss and share insights on monthly readings, in a supportive community focused on individual and collective empowerment.

Book Club Goal:

To illuminate our way forward through self-reflective and creative revolution, starting with ourselves.

Book Club Full Description:

"Within our shadow work, both as individuals and as a collective society, there are moments when we need to summon forth the light in order to illuminate our way forward. This book club is a space for us to explore ways to do that through our readings and discussion.

Our book picks will focus on and highlight avenues of empowerment and enlightenment expressed in concrete community work through self-reflective and creative revolution, starting with ourselves."

Book Club Meeting Place and Dates:

We will meet every 4th Sunday at 4:00pm at V-Roll Vietnamese Rolls & Bowls in Gulfport, FL (located in the southwest St.Petersburg area). They have outdoor seating and delicious fast-casual Vietnamese food and drinks, for anyone who wants to partake in refreshments while we meet.

March Book: The Creative Act: A Way of Being (by Rick Rubin - available at Tombolo Books)

Hosted by poet, writer and educator Yuki Jackson in partnership with NOMADstudio and Tombolo Books.
