One of the greatest needs in the hours and days following the attacks on September 11, 2001 was blood. While millions of Americans stood by feeling helpless, thousands of generous Americans jumped in, eager to help complete strangers in a time of unimaginable tragedy the only way we knew how - by rolling up our sleeves and donating blood! The overwhelming response became a powerful symbol of our nation's compassion, unity, and willingness to serve.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks and what better way to pay tribute to the victims and all those who spent countless hours helping during the aftermath than to continue coming together to help one another, honoring the promise we collectively made, to "Never forget"!
Whether you are a first responder, family member, or a community member who wants to show your support - you are ALL invited to participate. Roll up your sleeve, donate, and cast your vote for your favorite first responders.
The local first responder unit with the most votes (donors) will be awarded with our first ever MoWest "Battle of the Badges" trophy before our annual stair climb event.
