⚙️ GBCT is thrilled to present our first production of our 2024-2025 season, "Ada and the Engine" by Lauren Gunderson, directed by Sandy Zochert.🎶 SYNOPSIS:
A visionary at heart, Ada grew up fascinated by the principles of science and mathematics, despite discouragement from her mother. Then, on the cusp of adulthood, she meets two men who change the course of her life forever – the serious and traditional Lord Lovelace and the imaginative and innovative Charles Babbage. A dramatic biographical depiction of the life of Ada Lovelace, this story follows a woman as she navigates the complexities of love, learning, and the pursuit of passion while becoming known to history as the first ever computer programmer.
