"A Season for our City" Salvation Army Kettle Kick Off

The Salvation Army is kicking off “A Season for our City” at the annual Kettle Kick Off Breakfast!

This year, we are excited to announce a visit from a special guest speaker: Joey Zumaya!

Joey Zumaya currently leads community and diversity initiatives at LinkedIn, and sits on The Salvation Army National Board. He is also the recipient of the Certificate of Exceptional Service Award for his philanthropic work. Joey is a descendant of Jose Francisco Ortega, a “comandante” who was instrumental in establishing California’s missions.

Also enjoy a gourmet meal from the A-Team Chefs, inspiring remarks, and a live trio from the Sierra Vista Symphony. Celebrate with awards for 2024’s top ringers and best dressed volunteers—while rallying support for food, shelter, and vital services that uplift our community. Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for those in need.
