The first play of our exciting 59th Season is:
"A Jukebox for The Algonquin" by Paul Stroili
Directed by Larry Eisenberg
Opening July 24th, and running through August 24th, Th - Sat at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:00pm
It's the story of a group of residents at Placid Pines Senior Care Center who band together to purchase a vintage Wurlitzer jukebox for their recreation room, named "The Algonquin," to recapture the music and spirit of their youth. The residents, facing financial limitations, embark on a humorous and heartwarming journey to raise the necessary funds, even uncovering a secret garden along the way. The play explores themes of aging, resilience, and the enduring power of music to connect people across generations, with a cast of characters who are witty, wise, and full of life.
Featuring the talents of: Tricia Cruz, Milda Dacys, Herb Hall, Michael Mullen, Lloyd Pedersen, Ethan Rockwell, and Mouchette van Helsdingen
