"A field trip to Arts, Letters & Numbers, aka Faith Mills”
Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the upper parking lot on Burden Lake Rd.
A walking tour of the Faith Mills facility and discussion of the programs will be conducted by the Executive Director of Arts, Letters & Numbers exclusively for the Sand Lake Historical Society.
ALN is an international non-profit organization founded in 2011 dedicated to creative exchanges across a wide range of disciplines including visual arts, theater arts, music, sciences, auto mechanics, manufacturing, wood working, dance and many other creative endeavors. Arts Letters & Numbers has 40+ programs for live-in students and area high school students.
The tour will start at 6:30pm, April 8th. Be prepared to do some walking and stair climbing through the old mill buildings. The tour itself can last about 45 minutes, and will finish in their studios (upper mill) where participants will have the opportunity to participate in The I Love You Project, which is a beautiful opportunity for you as community members to contribute to a community project incorporating youth and adults building towards the gesture of love.
All community members are encouraged to participate. As usual this program is free to SLHS members. A $5 donation is suggested for those who are not yet members.
