Desert Storm is the largest Performance Boating event in the Western United States! This unique event stands as one of the largest events of any kind in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It draws boating enthusiasts from all over the country.Anderson Powersports Desert Storm presented by Kicker Marine Audio consists of several thrilling events starting out on Wednesday with Krusin' 4 A Kause, where volunteer boaters take local special needs residents out for a fun cruise on the lake. The boat rides are followed by lunch and treats for all involved. Wednesday evening is our traditional Welcome Party dinner followed by a live/silent auction benefitting our 2025 local charity of choice.
Thursday is the crowd favorite Street Party with a major display of awesome high-powered boats, vendors of all kinds, food trucks, entertainment and more! Arguably the largest event on Lake Havasu City's Main Street, with a multi-million dollar presentation of extraordinary super-charged racing vessels. This FREE Street display is the "kick-off" to the Anderson Powersports Desert Storm Parade of Power, Poker Run & Shootout stretching from Riviera to Acoma Blvd.
The Parade of Power starts Friday off with all the boats in the Poker Run cruising through the channel and right under the world-famous London Bridge. From there the participants in the Poker Run head out to one of 5 card stops to gather their poker hands and have their boats photographed by our aerial photographer. Friday night is poker hand card turn in along with a light meal provided for the participants.
Saturday features the high-speed Shootout on a closed course with incredible boats and drivers battling it out to see who will be crowned the King or Queen of the Desert with the fastest times for 2024! The fun continues Saturday night with the awards ceremony, dinner, and entertainment.
