Are you an Anderson County resident who is interested in participating in local organizing with your neighbors in Anderson County? Join us for this 2.5-hour workshop!
NOTE: This will NOT be an abstract workshop. We will be walking out of the meeting with clear next steps for a local outreach plan focused on clarifying a concrete organizing issue.
Goals:
✔️ Understand what makes a good organizing issue
✔️Use our time together to narrow in on 1-2 specific issues that we would want to explore through door-knocking and outreach over the summer
✔️ Decide whether we want to move forward with forming as a SOCM chapter
✔️ IF FOLKS WANT TO MOVE FORWARD: Land a date for a May/June Part 2: base-building training and door-knocking practice.
