Ancient Egyptian Sound Meditation with Cats

Step into the temple of Sekhmet — the lioness goddess of healing, fire, and transformation — for a deeply immersive journey inspired by Ancient Egyptian ritual and emotional alchemy.
In Ancient Egypt, the heart (the Ib) was believed to be the centre of memory, wisdom, and emotion. Sekhmet, Lady of Flame, does not simply destroy — she burns away heaviness to create space for strength, clarity, and renewal.
This intimate experience combines guided meditation, breathwork, healing sound, sacred scent, journaling, and feline companionship to help participants release emotional weight and reconnect with inner power.

The Journey
𓃭 The Temple Gates
As participants enter the space, they are gently anointed with a drop of frankincense essential oil on the pulse points — one of the sacred scents traditionally used in Ancient Egyptian temple rituals — marking the transition from the outside world into the temple space.
𓃭 The Sands of Time
Through guided breath work and immersive Egyptian healing music, participants are led on a meditative journey across the desert toward the Temple of Sekhmet.
𓃭 The Chamber of the Lioness
Inside the cool stone temple, participants encounter Sekhmet herself.
She does not speak. Instead, she offers Heart Medicine.
Participants are guided to release a burden they have been carrying within the heart, visualising it dissolving and leaving the body, replaced by a radiant golden solar light — symbolising strength, vitality, courage, and renewal.
𓃭 The Healing Altar
To integrate the medicine received during the journey, participants are offered dried dates infused with the symbolic energy of fire and Earth.
Each guest will also intuitively choose a handwritten guidance note prepared before the session — an introspective message to take home as part of the ritual.
This is also a space for quiet journaling, reflection, or optional sharing within the group.

The experience closes with time spent among our resident rescue cats — the Temple Guardians — whose calming presence helps anchor the heart medicine into the physical body through softness, stillness, and connection.
