Event Description:Join us on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at West High School in Anchorage, AK for the annual Anchorage Out of the Darkness Walk, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) – Alaska Chapter.

This powerful event brings together survivors, supporters, mental health advocates, and community members to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. Alaska consistently ranks among the highest in the nation for suicide rates, making our efforts here more urgent than ever.
The Out of the Darkness Walk is more than a fundraiser—it's a movement. Every dollar raised supports research, education, advocacy, and resources for those affected by suicide. Together, we walk to honor those we've lost, support those who struggle, and create a world where no one walks alone in their fight for mental health.
