Join Frederick CUUPS for our annual Ancestors ritual. At the waning of the agricultural year, we pause to remember our beloved dead. This ceremony celebrates both our own place in the web of life and honors those who have gone before. Our Ancestors ritual is solemn and includes themes of grief and death. As a result, we recommend this ritual for adults and teens ages 13+. Parents must supervise children and teens, as no childcare will be provided.
This year's Ancestors ritual will take us on a journey to the Underworld to seek guidance for uncertain times from the Ancestors as well as deities of death. We will honor and connect with our beloved dead while finding strength and wisdom for living in the world of breath and blood.
