Anatomy is back for our first event of 2025, teaming up with Marble Bar to bring you two rising techno stars from Berlin and Washington DC: Caniche and TonalTheory.
From Berlin via Vienna to London, Paris and Madrid – for fans of Hardgroove all over Europe, there is no way around Caniche. Oscillating between tooly, rough and funky, her sets are packed with Rap-reminiscing vocals and Tribal elements – while old school percussions build the rhythmic foundation. Caniche is a regular in Berlin’s most renowned booths like Tresor and RSO. Co-running PUSH Network, she is one of three residents hosting the New Faces series at Tresor and we're very excited to welcome her to Detroit for her US debut!
Fresh off of their Detroit debut last year at Anthology during Movement weekend, we're also thrilled to welcome back DC-based artists TonalTheory – a dynamic producer-DJ duo known for their unique take on high-energy, percussive driving, hard techno. Performing everywhere from warehouse raves to clubs and festivals and headlining their own shows across North America, Europe, and Asia, their DJ sets are signified by their relentless hard-hitting sound that takes their listeners on a cathartic journey. While also lending an homage to their classical backgrounds and incorporating melodic influences, their versatility and vision continues to captivate audiences of all genres of music.
