Anatomy and Physiology Review for Energy and Hands-On Healers with Barbara Caruso Anatomy and Physiology is the foundation for understanding how Reiki and other energy practices is applied with the use of hands-on healing. Often due to a wide range of teaching curriculum, the anatomy/physiology training is often left up to the student to understand the body’s functionality and physiology on their own time.
This 3.0–hour review is taught by Barbara Caruso, RN, PhD., a former Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel Medical School. Barbara has designed this review to target the key areas of how Reiki and Energy Healers apply their understanding through visualizing the body as part of their healing process. The use of Power Point as a knowledge-based aid, along with video live action animation, will enhance the learning experience for the student. Students will also have a chance to practice their visualization with fellow students in order to enhance the immediate integration of the learning experience for enhanced integration.

About Barbara Ann Caruso
Barbara Ann Caruso, RN, PhD is a former Assistant Professor of Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Drexel Medical School. She currently teaches classes in Health, Wellness and Spirituality. Barbara combines her nursing experience and Reiki knowledge in alignment with both the traditional medical model and holistic energy touch theories. Barbara piloted this class with healing practitioners to fine tune its application in order to develop a meaningful learning experience for all levels of providers.
