You are being summoned to the court of the most powerful emperor in the world in 1599. After selling out to 400 guests in its 2025 Houston debut, Anarkali Reimagined returns for a full staging at Luxtrium, October 22 through 25, 2026.

Anarkali Reimagined is a live theatrical production that places you inside a world where beauty, ambition, and survival collide under the absolute rule of empire.

At the center of the story is Anarkali, a highly accomplished courtesan whose presence threatens the fragile order of the court, not because of scandal, but because her existence exposes the machinery of power for what it is. What unfolds is not a tale of jealousy. It is a tale of dynastic calculation, where even affection is weighed against the survival of an empire.

Attendees enter as guests of the court itself. Depending on your seating tier, you may take your place among Court Seating, answer The Last Summons, or be received into the Imperial Court as VIP, with a more intimate experience limited to a small number of guests per performance.

Expect live performance blending dance, movement, and dramatic staging, drawn from historical research into Mughal court protocol and reimagined for a modern audience.
