About this Event

Join LitArts RI on Sat, Aug 22 from 1-3pm for an Analog Write-in at Gather Farm in Johnston, Rhode Island. Gather is a group of growers, artists and educators who build community through experiences in art, food and farming that includes not only Gather Farm but also LitArts RI's neighbors at Gather Glass and Gather Cafe. At the farm, settle in to the Rosemary Fig Greenhouse to write among other creatives, take breaks to explore the farm's paths, including a stone labyrinth, and don't forget to say hello to the resident goats (you can sign up for a goat walk or cuddle on either side of the write-in, slots available at noon and at 3pm on the Gather Farm website). Ice cream will be available for purchase to help cool you down and fuel your writing!

About Gather Farm
Gather is a group of growers, artists and educators who build community through experiences in art, food and farming that includes Gather Glass, Gather Cafe and Gather Farm.
Gather Farm is a small scale, chemical free, regenerative farm situated on ten acres in Johnston that has a deep history of farming for the community for over 100 years. They believe in caretaking the land in a way that cultivates the health and vitality of the soil ecology, the living things that grow in it and on it, the people that engage with it and are nourished by it, and its intersection with the greater community.
Learn about their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program here, and sign up for a Goat Experience before or after the write-in here.
