Ana Bárbara (Altagracia Ugalde Motta) was a beauty queen—Miss San Luis Potosí—before she reached stardom as a singer. In 1994, she released her first CD, the self-titled “Ana Bárbara”, and the song, “Sacúdeme” (“Shake Me”), became a hit in Mexico.
