About the speaker:
Dr. Fawwaz Ayoub Momani is a distinguished Professor of Psychological Counseling at Yarmouk University in Jordan and currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Jordan Journal of Educational Sciences*. With a wealth of expertise in forced migration, he previously directed the Refugees, Displaced Persons, and Forced Migration Studies Centre at Yarmouk University. Dr. Momani is a prolific scholar, having authored over 90 publications on psychosocial issues, including approximately 40 focused on forced migration. He is an active member of the T20 Task Force on Forced Migration and has collaborated with international teams to address educational needs in migration contexts. His extensive participation in global conferences and his success in securing grants, such as the EU-Horizon-2020-funded TRAFIG Project, underscore his significant contributions to refugee studies and host community integration.
