I spent a long time believing that being needed was the same thing as being loved.
This evening of original poetry and music tells the story of what it looks like to untangle that through a whole mess of boundaries, people-pleasing, codependency, and anxiety. And to find God at work in the middle of it, not just after it’s all cleaned up.
Featuring rich three-part harmonies with Emily Miersma and Hannah Peters, these songs and poems are honest, a little uncomfortable, and ultimately hopeful.
Come to hear a story that might sound more familiar than you expect.
