About this Event
Would you like to learn to take your camera out of ‘Auto’ and explore your creative potential? In this short introduction to photography, our talented tutor Phil, will walk you through the basics of using your camera to capture a more professional and visually exciting shot.
This is a very hands on workshop and using your own camera you will be encouraged to experiment with using different apertures to change your ‘depth of field’ , creating very different looks to your photos. You will also look at what different lenses are for and how they change the end result, and how to change apertures, shutter speeds and ISO’s.
To join us on this workshop you will need to bring with you, your own camera making sure it is fully charged. If you also have a manual that would be useful but not essential.
Sorry, however due to the nature of this course it is NOT suitable for those using a mobile phone to take photographs.
