An Introduction to Movement is Medicine

Join us in person to explore how movement and music can be medicine. We'll explore how we use music and movement in our day to day lives, introduce some of the science behind the Movement is Medicine (MIM) method and finish with a MIM session.

The MIM session will be 20 minutes of seated guided movement, followed by 20 minutes of more energetic movement, set to a curated playlist of electronic music. (Think Reggae, Afro Jazz, Funky House etc.)

Please note: this workshop is part of a series of Winter Wellbeing Events, which have been made possible through an award from the Small Sparks Fund. This Fund, distributed by the Herefordshire Community Foundation, has been awarded from funding received by Herefordshire Council as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). As such it is open to Herefordshire residents aged 18 +.
