An intro to Sashiko | Manchester Wool & Yarn

Celebrate the life of your clothes with an introduction to Sashiko and Boro stitching. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll create a patch in the Boro style and learn a selection of traditional Sashiko patterns, giving you the skills to mend, repair and extend the life of your favourite clothes in style.

A selection of fabrics and yarns for patching will be provided. In the spirit of mending, we encourage you to bring along a garment that you’d like to repair and give a new lease of life.
