Friday, December 11 | 7:30 pm
Saturday, December 12 | 2:00 pm
AIA Theatrical Productions is proud to present the world premiere of off-Broadway playwright Mike Vogel’s An Honest Conversation.
An Honest Conversation about race between two friendly couples descends into a heated conflict, threatening their fledgling business venture, their friendship, and, before the night is over, their marriages.
Here’s what those who have read or seen the play workshopped had to say:
“A truly great play.” (Terry Burrell, actor, Dreamgirls, who is currently working to get a production of the play at Atlanta’s Theatrical Outlet)
“A masterpiece.” (Jeffrey Bruce, renowned South Florida and Atlanta director)
“Incredibly timely: this play hits the zeitgeist right in the gut.” (Eric Webb, director of creative development, Davenport Theatrical Enterprises)
While clearly a drama, An Honest Conversation also has laugh-out-loud comedic moments woven throughout, fitting for a playwright who has written original material for numerous major comics, including Rodney Dangerfield.
In the Stonzek Studio Theatre – Limited Engagement Series
The show is approximately 2 hours, with one 15-minute intermission.
TICKETS: $42
(plus $5 processing fee per order)
Please Note: This event is the sole responsibility of the outside presenter who has privately leased the Lake Worth Playhouse. The management of the Lake Worth Playhouse is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or quality of the program.
