Drawing from his harrowing experience with PTSD and moral injury after serving in Mosul, Iraq, Tom will take audiences through an extraordinary journey: a 2,700-mile, five-month trek from Wisconsin to California that became the Emmy-nominated documentary Almost Sunrise. He'll explore the science and practice of healing, from peer support and meditation to Yoga Nidra and nature, and share the hard-won wisdom that has moved audiences at Google, the Aspen Ideas Festival, and the U.S. Congress.
