About this Event

Join us for a very exciting evening with the International Booker Prize winning author and translator, for their first public event after the announcement.

The winning author and translator will be in conversation with Natasha Brown, this year’s Chair of judges and Booker Prize-longlisted author of Universality.

The prize, which is awarded annually, celebrates the best works of long-form fiction or collections of short stories translated into English and published in the UK and/or Ireland. The 2026 shortlist of six books will be announced on Tuesday 31 March, with the winning book announced at a ceremony in London Tuesday 19 May.
